My name is Kyler Jensen, I am the creator of Pit Stop BBQ!

I am an Idaho native born in Blackfoot. I graduated with a degree in Auto Tech from BYU-I in 2023, and have lived in the area since. I enjoy motorcycles, cars, racing, cooking, fishing, and pretty much everything outdoors.

I have been a huge fan of racing since I was young. From watching short course racing at the Lucas Oil Off-road Racing Series, Top Fuel Dragsters in Vegas, and drag racing events at my local drag strip, I have always been watching some sort of race. My real passion for racing came from racing with my family on a 1/3 mile dirt track at the Atomic Motor Raceway in Atomic City, Idaho.

I’ve always loved to cook. I started experimenting with recipes back in college, constantly trying new ideas and flavors. One day, after struggling to find a store-bought BBQ sauce I truly liked, I decided to create my own. After a lot of trial and error—and more than a few failed batches—I finally landed on a sauce that was perfectly sweet with just a slight kick.

That recipe became the Pit Stop Classic.

When friends and family couldn’t stop raving about it, I knew I had something worth sharing. That’s when the idea to bring Pit Stop BBQ to life really began.
